Watch the Snow Fall on the Big White SnowX Course
With a wet forecast for the Okanagan this weekend, winter enthusiasts are hoping for some snow up at Big White. The Happy Valley Day Lot is the location for the Big White SnowX, and one of Big White’s webcams gives a great view of the course, and its progress into perfect winter SnowX conditions. Thank you to all the competitors, volunteers, sponsors and spectators for helping make the 2010 Big White Rally Weekend a success! The fourth annual Big White Rally Weekend will take place December 2-4, 2011 at Big White Ski Resort, in Kelowna, British Columbia. To volunteer for the event, fill out the Volunteer Survey.
Winter action sports are in full swing to start the early season at Big White! Performance rally teams will be testing the limits of speed and snow on forest roads near the resort, and registered entrants will have the chance to test their daily drivers against the rally cars.
Spectators will be able to view the SnowX competition from the back of the skating rink at Happy Valley. For more adventurous newcomers or seasoned rally spectators, designated spectator areas will be accessible on the forest stages. The event concludes on Saturday night with an awards party at Happy Valley Day Lodge.
The 2011 Big White Winter Rally is the final event for both the Western Canadian Rally Championship.
